The team at EYM work with students to create unique University candidacies. Our focus is to advise on how to build strength and resiliency in order to produce the type of mindset required to achieve success.
Whilst gaining admission to a Tier-1 University is the focus for our families and students, we do not see this as the only impact that our mentoring provides. Investment into our 1-1 consulting helps ensure your child is capable of achieving success in all aspects of life and is competitive in a global, 21st century economy.
Similarly, our in person workshops allow school leaders to source an additional layer of expertise from the private sector to bolster and control their school admissions results. As rankings play an ever more important role in the reputation and subsequent revenue capabilities of a modern independent, the University admission placement record is a priority. Providing access to leading experts in the admissions process allows schools to further justify the investment families make into their fees. Beyond these group workshops, our consultants are able to provide additional support with 1-1 guidance sessions during evenings and weekends.
FOUNDER
Elite Young Mindsets was founded by Matthew Roberts who, prior to EYM, worked as the European Managing Director for the largest global university admissions consultancy. He started this MD role at 26 and oversaw the operations and growth of the European arm of the business. Matthew has directly supported students to universities in the UK and the US. This includes Cambridge and MIT along with Russell Group and Ivy League institutions.
Prior to his career, Matthew studied Philosophy at the University of St Andrews up to the graduate research level. He graduated from his undergraduate programme with a First Class Honours degree and achieved awards for the best undergraduate dissertation. A lifelong learner, Matthew is completing further postgraduate studies in Computer Science ahead of an intended PhD in the Philosophy of AI.
Separate to EYM, Matthew sits on the board of governors for a school in England, supporting the institution to further academic and University placement success.
